Cruise program:
Day 1
- Boarding the motor ship from 11 to 12 at Sakhyurta (MRS) jetty in the Small Sea. Accommodation in cabins. Meeting the crew, safety instructions, instructions regarding behavior on board and at Lake Baikal.
- Lunch on board. Once the ship passes the strait, it enters the main Baikal aquatory – its middle basin with maximum depth of up to 1400 meter, traveling along the scenic western shore to the south. The journey may include stops at the white marble rock Saagan-Zaba (subject to wave height) and viewing cave drawings (petroglyphs) dating back to III-V centuries AD.
- Evening: arrival to Sennaya bay – station of Pribaikalsky national park. In the evening, at the discretion of guests, they may go to a Russian sauna, which stands on the very shore of Lake Baikal. Dinner and night on board. Daytime water journey 120 kilometers, journey time 8-10 hours.
- Breakfast on board. At the discretion of guests, a two-hour walking tour can be provided on the shore of Lake Baikal to Peschanaya bay (six kilometers). The tour route follows a scenic path in the Primorsky mountain range. Peschanaya bay is famous for its walking trees, magnificent views of the lake from the surrounding cliffs, and an excellent sandy beach. The ship will be waiting in the bay.
- Lunch on board. Trip to Circum-Baikal Railway. The ship stops overnight in a convenient bay at Circum-Baikal Railway. Guided walking tour of abandoned tunnels and galleries. Dinner and night on board. Daytime water journey 100 kilometers, journey time 8 hours.
- Breakfast on board. After breakfast, trip to Listvyanka settlement (2 hours), which stands at the source of the Angara River.
- End of cruise. 12:00 Disembarkation at the main jetty of Listvyanka, opposite the largest hotel of Lake Baikal.
